Welcome to the Tri Preston Website
Welcome to Preston Triathlon Club more affectionately known as Tri Preston. The club was formed in 1997 and has grown over the years to its current membership of around 70 members. Whether you want to do sprint races or Ironman distance, we at the club aim to support you in achieving your goals. We cater for a wide range of abilities from elite to complete beginners so whatever your level we are sure you will find something to suit you.
If you are interested in joining us, the club meets at 6:30pm on the 3rd Sunday of every month at South Ribble Tennis Centre, Cuerden Way, Bamber Bridge, Preston, Lancashire PR5 6BJ.

Good news, the final three aquathlons from the original series are officially BACK ON! The dates are 30th July, 13th and 27th August. Coniston Standard Distance Triathlon
Paul Sanderson followed up his superb result at Keswick with a 3rd place (02:22:15) at the Coniston Standard Distance Triathlon on Saturday, some 5 minutes behind Tri Clan's (and former Tri Preston) Rodger Wilkins. John Hampson continued his good form with a 14th place (02:25:40) and Darren Slater, training hard for Ironman UK, completed a trio of Tri Preston athletes in 62nd place (03:04:42). (more...)

Open water swims
Salford open water swimming starts at the Watersports Centre on 7th May 2009 with the 2009 registration form now available to download. The Carnforth sessions start at Lakeland Leisure Village the same week. The water tests have come back fine so the first swim will be Monday 4th May 7.00pm, usual format, then every 2 weeks after that. (more...)
