Cycling

The club has a weekly club ride every Saturday morning. The starting location alternates between Preston Arena, Paul Hewitts in Leyland and Virgin Active at Walton le Dale. The Training schedule identifies which location and on what date.

Rides cater for all abilities and large groups will be split into ability levels if possible.

If you require something a little quicker some of the clubs stronger riders join Preston Wheelers, who have weekly club runs on Sunday mornings. There are normally 2 groups which leave at 9.00am. One group is for people who prefer a leisurely ride with a cafe stop for lunch. The other group is for riders who prefer a slightly faster pace but still with a lunch stop at a cafe. Both groups leave from the Withy Trees pub in Preston. All abilities are welcome and both groups are normally very well attended.

Ribble Valley CRC also have an official Sunday morning club ride, meeting at Preston College 9.00am March to November and 10.00am December, January and February. More details here.
