Tri Preston members are all ages, all abilities from a range of sporting and non-sporting backgrounds. Whether you’re an elite or new to exercise, you will be welcome to join in.
We’re not all about the training, we like to celebrate too! We run regular social events throughout the year – check our FaceBook page for the latest.
We have four club meetings a year, these take place at the Preston Grasshoppers, Lightfoot Lane, Fulwood, Preston, PR4 0AP at 6.30pm. Dates for 2018 meetings are:
18th February (incorporating watt bike session)
22nd April (AGM and Great Tri Preston Bake Off)
16th September (incorporating PT session)
18th November (incorporating Nutrition & Bike Maintenance)

All of our club activities are lead by a member of the club. They are all qualified to one of the following standards:
Run leader – England Athletics qualification which qualifies and insures leaders to deliver safe and fun running sessions.
Bike leader – CTC qualification covering risk management, group management, leading techniques and emergency management.
Level 1 Triathlon Coach – recognised by the International Triathlon Union (ITU) – coaches are able to actively support or assist a more senior qualified triathlon coach (Level 2+ Club Coach) in the delivery of a pre-organised session plan, in all three disciplines.
Level 2 Triathlon Coach – recognised by the International Triathlon Union (ITU) – coaches independently plan, deliver and evaluate triathlon related activities including coaching in open water environments.
